What is Botox?
Botox is a naturally produced chemical that is injected into selective muscles to temporarily eliminate facial expression lines such as frown lines, crows feet around the eyes, forehead lines and lip lines.

What type of results will I see?
Botox takes effect about 3 to 7 days after treatment. The improvement generally lasts about 3 to 4 months before the effect gradually fades.

Can anyone have Botox injections? 
Candidates for Botox injections include those patients who show early signs of aging and who do not wish to pursue invasive surgery. 

Patients who are not recommeded to have Botox include: 
Pregnant or nursing women 
Patients with a history of peripheral motor neuropathic diseases or neuromuscular junctional disorders
Patients who are allergic to Botulinum Toxin Type A 

What is involved in the therapy?
Botox is a minimally invasive treatment.  A few tiny injections are made into the muscles that cause lines.  No anesthesia or recovery is required.  The procedure takes about 10 minutes.  Discomfort is minimal and brief and normal activity may be resumed immediately.

How long do the results of Botox therapy last?
You can expect to see results within days after treatment.  Visible results can last up to four months.  It has been observed that its effects tend to get better and last longer with each successive injection.
